Moonlight Excursion

The moonlight excursion of the Dartmouth Brass Band appears to have passed off very pleasantly. The harbor was calm and the moon bright, and even those on shore enjoyed the brilliant spectacle of the illuminated steamer with her glittering lights, and surrounded with the bright reflections flashed up from the glassy waters; while the soft streams of rich music floated through the still air. The enjoyment of those on board, of course, was still more complete.
